Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) is a set of principles that is scientifically proven effective in behavioural treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ABA therapy is used to increase social skills, self-care skills, communication skills, play skills and ability to manage own behaviour. Besides that, it also helps to improve attention, focus, memory as well as reduce negative behaviours such as aggression and screaming.

Our 1:1 ABA Therapy program is an individualized treatment therapy program. It is designed and customized to meet the child’s skills, needs, strength, interests, preferences, and family’s desire. Skills that covered in the program includes:

Level 1: Pre-Learning

To help children develop levels of understanding about “learning” before they learn skills. Children who have deficiency in these skills frequently have challenges to learn and understand fundamental concepts. Therefore, this level is to well prep and strengthen the children fundamental based so that they can learn independently and happily.

Acquired skills includes:

  • Learn to comply and follow instructions
  • Learn to be attentive in listening
  • Learn to stay focus and concentrate
  • Learn to response and have eye contact
  • Learn to be tolerance in waiting
  • Learn to know fundamental speech request skills
  • Learn to do fundamental motor skills
  • Develop joint attention


Level 2: Learning

To enhance their fundamental skills learning to more compound skills learning. In this level, children who adept with Level 1 will learn further about speech & language, communication skills, social skills, play skills, compound motor skills, self-regulation skills and emotional skills. These skills are crucial and beneficial for the children to communicate and comprehend with others in various environment setting. Therefore, this level is to well prep, enhance and strengthen the children core skills so that they can generalizing it in natural environment.

Acquired skills in Level 2 includes:

  • Increase awareness of surrounding
  • Adapt to changes of surrounding
  • Develop speech and language skills
  • Develop communication skills
  • Develop play skills
  • Develop social behaviour skills
  • Increase self-help and independence skills
  • Develop self-regulation skills
  • Generalize skills learned in natural environment


Level 3: Group

Children will start to learn in group setting as a preparation for school environment. In this level, children will learn to utilize the skills learned from Level 1 and Level 2 in group setting. They also will learn about group participation, group social regulation, toleration, functioning skills etc. Therefore, this level is to well prep the children for them to be able to understand, cope and handle various of social circumstances.

Acquired skills in Level 3 includes:

  • Learn how to “learn” from a group setting
  • Learn to participate in group activities
  • Learn about social rules and norms in group learning
  • Increasing resilient & perseverance in group learning
  • Learn about self-organization in group learning
  • Increasing tolerance level in group learning
  • Learn to self-regulate in group learning
